Rock guitar and stem cells

Following recent news on stem cells, I was astounded to catch a blog from This Day In Rock divulging that Tony Iommi, the Black Sabbath guitarist, is having stem cell therapy on a hand worn out from thrashing his electric! I saw Iommi in the early 70s at Kooyong Tennis Stadium, under stormy skies, more to the point I heard in the pit of my gut the pummeling chords constructed by that hand.
