You’ll see ‘Undistraction’ listed as a ‘Destination’ over on the right. I’m categorising my blogs as open-ended journeys. Some are thematic, for example Geeks Rule. Others break culture up into categories, e.g. Literary Fiction and Nonfiction. They’re all designed to pull me forward.
After commending Distraction: A Philosopher’s Guide to Being Free by Damon Young, I set up a new label called Undistraction (is there such a word? you can certainly say undistracted), representing my meandering exploration of philosophy using his book.
As an example of how such ordering of thought works, after writing the above, I visited Young’s blog, That Young Philosopher, and was intrigued enough by his mention of his review of Wellbeing by Mark Vernon that I’m getting hold of a copy.
